SALT LAKE CITY-Dean Rueckert posted 15 points and the No. 4 Timpview Thunderbirds edged No. 5 Orem 55-54 Saturday at the Huntsman Center in the 5A state quarterfinals. Asher Young had 12 points and 11 rebounds in the loss for the Tigers. Timpview next faces No.1 Alta Tuesday at 8:40 pm in the state semifinals at the Huntsman Center.
SALT LAKE CITY-Carter Doleac stepped up with 26 points and the No. 1 Alta Hawks humbled No. 8 Brighton 70-60 at the Huntsman Center Saturday in the 5A state quarterfinals. Bradley Easton had 25 points in defeat for the Bengals.
SALT LAKE CITY-Reef Smylie and Dutch DowDell posted 23 points apiece and the No. 2 Olympus Titans clobbered No. 10 Skyline 76-43 in the 5A state quarterfinals Saturday. Landon Shaw led the Eagles in the loss with 16 points. The Titans next face No. 3 Highland Tuesday at 8:40 pm in the state semifinals at The Huntsman Center.
SALT LAKE CITY-George McConkie recorded 27 points and 17 rebounds and the No. 3 Highland Rams bested No. 6 Bountiful 65-59 Saturday in the 5A state quarterfinals. Bryson Heath led the Redhawks in the loss with 17 points.

SALT LAKE CITY-Peyton Benkhe netted 16 points and the No. 2 Wasatch Wasps got past No. 7 West 55-50 Saturday in the 5A state quarterfinals at the Huntsman Center. Fina Tuha had 14 points and 5 rebounds in the loss for the Panthers. Wasatch next faces No. 22 Springville Tuesday at 4:40 pm at the Huntsman Center in the state semifinals.
SALT LAKE CITY-Sami Del Lamas posted 12 points and 5 rebounds and the No. 22 Springville Red Devils humbled No. 3 Timpview 45-37 at the Huntsman Center Saturday in the 5A state quarterfinals. Lina Ballin’s 13 points and 5 rebounds led the Thunderbirds in the loss.
SALT LAKE CITY-Kamri Andersen led the way with 17 points and the No. 4 Box Elder Bees downed No. 12 Olympus 59-55 at the Huntsman Center Saturday in the 5A state quarterfinals. Joss Baker had 16 points and 11 rebounds in the loss for the Titans.
SALT LAKE CITY-Adelaide Stevenson had 24 points and 9 rebounds and the No. 1 Bountiful Redhawks routed No. 8 Brighton 62-30 Saturday in the 5A state quarterfinals at the Huntsman Center. Olivia Stephens had 12 points in defeat for the Bengals.
