(Brigham City, UT) — The fight against a big data center in Box Elder County is now entering the courtroom. Critics are suing over a recent decision to reject their push to get the issue before voters. Last week, the county attorney rejected the applications to launch a pair of challenges because of technical issues. He says opponents of the data center are seeking ballot questions that would be what he calls “administrative actions” and not new laws. Those critics are now trying to get his decision overturned by a judge.
