HEBER CITY, Utah-JJ Serre’s 26 points led the way and the Wasatch Wasps pounded Springville 61-36 Friday in Region 7 boys basketball play at The Nest. Luke Nadauld’s 10 points led the Red Devils in the loss. Wasatch improved to 6-5 and 1-1 in Region 7 play. HEBER CITY, Utah-Peyton Benkhe posted 13 points and the Wasatch Wasps overpowered Springville 52-30 in Region 7 girls basketball play at The Nest Friday. Natalie Florence led the Red Devils in the loss with 12 points. Wasatch improved to 10-2 and 1-1 in Region 7 play. Tuesday, the Wasps return to action at 5:15 pm at The Nest for a non-region contest against Class 6A Corner Canyon.
