HEBER CITY, Utah-Dean Rueckert posted 23 points and the Timpview Thunderbirds overpowered Wasatch 71-50 Tuesday in Region 7 boys basketball play at The Nest. Sam Lind’s 19 points led the Wasps. Wasatch returns to action Friday by hosting Cedar Valley at The Nest as the Region 7 season continues for both squads.

HEBER CITY, Utah-Ashley Garner stepped up with 25 points and the Wasatch Wasps edged Timpview 62-59 Tuesday at The Nest in Region 7 girls basketball play. Leah Atuaia’s 15 points led the Thunderbirds in defeat.
