ST. GEORGE, Utah-Monday, Utah Tech freshman tailback Nygel Osborne was named as the United Athletic Conference’s Freshman of the Week.
The 5’11” 195-pound native of Inglewood, Calif. ran for 60 yards on 7 carries and a pair of scores in the Trailblazers’ 24-16 loss to Southern Utah.
Osborne ran for 260 yards and two touchdowns on the season for Utah Tech.
