LOUISVILLE, Ky.-Thursday, Utah sophomore tailback and safety Sione Vaki was named as a finalist for the 2023 Paul Hornung Award. This is annually bestowed upon the most versatile player in college football.
Vaki is joined as a finalist by Arizona State junior tailback/punter Cameron Skattebo and Colorado sophomore tailback/receiver Travis Hunter.
Vaki has posted 41 touches for 450 yards and five touchdowns offensively this season for Utah, as well as an interception, two sacks, two passes defensed and 8.5 tackles for a loss on the defensive side of the ball.
Vaki and his Utah teammates return to action Saturday at Arizona.
