SALT LAKE CITY-Donovan Walton and Bryce Johnson each drove in a run and the Sacramento River Cats edged Salt Lake 4-3 Saturday at Smith’s Ballpark.

Juan Sanchez posted two strikeouts in 1.2 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Sacramento. Sanchez is 3-3 on the season for the River Cats.

Preston Palmeiro and Jordyn Adams drove in a run apiece in the loss for the Bees.

Sacramento improved to 67-81 on the season while Salt Lake fell to 69-79.

The Bees and River Cats each go for the series win Sunday afternoon at Smith’s Ballpark. This will also be the last game of the season for both squads as well as the final Bees broadcast for veteran Salt Lake City sportscaster Steve Klauke.

Opening pitch is slated for 1:05 pm.
