PROVO, Utah-Monday, former BYU men’s head basketball coach Dave Rose will be inducted into the Utah Sports Hall of Fame during a ceremony at the Little America Hotel of Salt Lake City.

Rose will be joined by the late Stein Ericksen, Ted Ligety, Julie Thompson Seal and Tom Wharton in this induction class.

Rose went 348-135 (.720), including a streak of 13 consecutive 20-win seasons, as the Cougars’ head coach from 2005-2019.

Rose also served as an assistant under former BYU head coach Steve Cleveland and spent 10 seasons at Dixie State, including seven seasons as head coach.
