SALT LAKE CITY-Trey Cabbage homered and the Salt Lake Bees downed Sacramento 12-4 Wednesday at Smith’s Ballpark.

Jake Kalish posted eight strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees. Kalish improved to 9-11 on the season in victory.

Casey Schmitt drove in three runs in the loss for the River Cats.

The Bees improved to 68-77 on the season while the River Cats fell to 65-80.

The squads meet again Thursday at 6:35 pm at Smith’s Ballpark.
