RENO, Nev.-Tristin English homered and the Reno Aces stonewalled Salt Lake 5-2 Thursday at Greater Nevada Field. Slade Cecconi posted five strikeouts in 5.2 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Aces. Trey Cabbage and Kevin Padlo had an RBI apiece in the loss for the Bees. Reno improved to 81-60 on the season while Salt Lake fell to 65-75.

The Bees and Aces return to action Friday at 7:35 pm.

Pioneer League

OGDEN, Utah-Juan Teixeira and Dakota Conners each drove in a run and the Ogden Raptors downed Rocky Mountain 3-1 Thursday in Game 3 of the Pioneer League South Division standings at Lindquist Field. Brock Gilliam posted six strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Ogden. Dan Kubiuk added two more strikeouts in one inning to record the save for the Raptors. Ogden next advances to the Pioneer League championship series against the Billings Mustangs. No dates for the series have been revealed as of yet.
