OGDEN, Utah-Monday, Weber State football sophomore kick returner Abraham Williams was named the FCS FedEx Special Teams Player of the Week for his contributions to the Wildcats’ 33-31 win over Northern Arizona lasts Saturday.

Williams, a native of Salt Lake City and product of West High School, returned a kickoff 100 yards for a score and averaged 39.6 yards per kickoff return against the Lumberjacks.

Williams is currently averaging 45.4 yards per kick return this season for Weber State.

Williams and his Weber State teammates next compete in the first round of the FCS playoffs Saturday at 2:00 pm by hosting the North Dakota Fighting Hawks at Stewart Stadium.
