(Salt Lake City, UT) — There will be no Proposition 4 repeal measure on the November ballot. Utah Lieutenant Governor Deirdre Henderson says the signature numbers did not meet the county requirement. She says it “only met the required geographical threshold in 24 of Utah’s 29 Senate districts.” Republican activists were hoping to get the measure before voters. Their goal was to overturn an independent redistricting commission that voters approved in 2018.
