OGDEN, Utah-Thursday, Weber State junior cornerback Maxwell Anderson was named to the Buck Buchanan Award Watch List.

This award is granted to the top defensive player in FCS football.

Anderson, a native of Fremont, Calif., leads the nation with five interceptions and also has four pass breakups on the information.

Weber State is 6-0 (3-0 in Big Sky Conference play) on the season.

The Wildcats return to action Saturday at Bozeman, Mont. to face the Montana State Bobcats.
