OGDEN, Utah-Monday, Weber State football student-athletes selected their team captains for the upcoming season, which commences Thursday at Utah.  the Wildcats selected ahead of their season-opener, Thursday evening at Utah.

These captains are senior defensive tackle Jared Schiess, freshman signal-caller Bronson Barron, junior receiver Ty MacPherson, senior linebacker Conner Mortensen and senior kick returner/receive Rashid Shaheed.

Schiess and Shaheed were team captains for the Wildcats during the spring season as well.
