(Salt Lake City, UT) — Hundreds of new laws are now in effect in Utah. Yesterday marked 60 days since the end of the state’s legislative session, activating 373 new laws. The measures cover a wide range of health, transportation and other issues that didn’t require new spending in the next fiscal year. One new law banning proposition bets is already being challenged in court.
