OGDEN, Utah-Monday, Weber State football added a home game against NCAA Division II foe Central Washington August 31.

The game against the CWU Wildcats will be the season opener for Weber State.

CWU is best known as the alma mater of former standout NFL quarterback Jon Kitna, who played for the Seattle Seahawks, Cincinnati Bengals, Detroit Lions and Dallas Cowboys from 1997-2011.

The Wildcats’ schedule is now as follows:

September 30 @ Northern Colorado

October 7-Northern Arizona

October 14-UC Davis

October 21 @ Eastern Washington

November 4 @ Idaho State

November 18 @ Cal Poly

The Wildcats’ spring game is Saturday April 15 at 1:00 pm at Stewart Stadium in Ogden.
