5A Quarterfinals

LAYTON, Utah-The No. 4 Northridge Knights bested No. 5 Wasatch 9-6 Saturday in the 5A state lacrosse quarterfinals. This ends the Wasps’ season. Northridge next faces No. 1 Olympus Wednesday at 5:00 pm in the state semifinals at Westminster.

HOLLADAY, Utah-The No. 1 Olympus Titans prevailed 13-5 over No. 9 Maple Mountain to advance to the 5A state semifinals.

COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS, Utah-The No. 2 Brighton Bengals downed No. 15 Bountiful 13-5 in the 5A state lacrosse quarterfinals Saturday. Wyatt Farr, Brandon Wilkinson, Britton Tidwell, Tate Terry and Nathan Horne each scored in the loss for the Redhawks. Brighton next faces No. 3 Park City Wednesday at 7:00 pm at Westminster in the 5A state semifinals.

PARK CITY, Utah-The No. 3 Park City Miners bested No. 6 Alta 15-9 Saturday in the 5A state lacrosse quarterfinals.

Girls Lacrosse

LEHI, Utah-The No. 7 Wasatch Wasps upset No. 2 Lehi 8-6 Saturday in the 5A girls lacrosse quarterfinals. Alexis Atkin netted four goals in the loss for the Pioneers. The Wasps next play No. 3 Park City Tuesday at 7:00 pm in the state semifinals at Westminster.

PARK CITY, Utah-Lilly Hunt recorded five goals and the No. 3 Park City Miners routed No. 11 Payson 22-1 in the 5A girls lacrosse quarterfinals Saturday.

COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS, Utah-The No. 4 Brighton Bengals edged No. 5 Maple Mountain 9-7 in the 5A girls lacrosse quarterfinals Saturday. The Bengals next meet No. 1 Olympus Tuesday at 5:00 pm in the state semifinals at Westminster.

HOLLADAY, Utah-The No. 1 Olympus Titans routed No. 9 Provo 20-7 Saturday in the 5A girls lacrosse quarterfinals.
