5-A Second Round

HEBER CITY, Utah-Gabe Manning, Ryan Hanley and Edgar Garcia each scored as the No. 1 Wasatch Wasps blanked No. 16 Hillcrest 3-0 Tuesday in the second round of the 5-A boys state soccer tournament. Elder Gutierrez earned the shutout for the Wasps. Wasatch next hosts fellow Region 8 foe, No. 9 Spanish Fork, Friday at 4:00 pm in the state soccer quarterfinals.
