STANSBURY PARK, Utah-Landon Palmer drove in a run and the No. 9 Stansbury Stallions downed No. 24 Wasatch 2-0 in the 5A regionals Saturday at Stansbury High School. Ethan Wayman netted nine strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Stallions. The Wasps will play the Stallions in Game 2 of this best-of-5 series Monday at 1:00 pm on 94.5 The Peak and hebervalleyradio.com.
PAYSON, Utah-Cam Ford and Porter Beckstead each homered and the No. 12 Payson Lions routed No. 21 Provo 14-3 in the 5A regionals at Payson High School Saturday. Ruger Braithwaite posted four strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Lions. Cy Berge and Alex Martinez each drove in a run in the loss for the Bulldogs.
MURRAY, Utah-Kason Bleckert, Easton Floyd and Vaughn Wilson each drove in three runs apiece and the No. 11 Murray Spartans pounded No. 22 Cedar Valley 12-2 at Murray High School Saturday in the 5A regionals. Hunter Harmon posted five strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Spartans. Josh Sivert drove in both runs in the loss for the Aviators.
SPANISH FORK, Utah-Seth Hall and Cy Chrisman each homered and the No. 10 Maple Mountain Golden Eagles edged No. 23 Springville 6-5 in the 5A regionals Saturday. Chase Johnston posted 10 strikeouts in 6.1 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Golden Eagles.
BRIGHAM CITY, Utah-Max Moffat homered and the No. 17 Woods Cross Wildcats bested No. 16 Box Elder 11-6 Saturday in the 5A regionals. Harley Vicchrilli posted four strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Wildcats. Tommy Greer homered in defeat for the Bees.
BOUNTIFUL, Utah-Hank Tippetts, Dallin Maxwell, Bailey Demorest and Easton Aubuchon drove in two runs apiece and the No. 15 Bountiful RedHawks pounded No. 18 Uintah 11-1 in the 5A regionals Saturday. Aubuchon posted four strikeouts to earn the win on the mound for the RedHawks. Brennen Kunkel drove in a run in the loss for the Utes.
PARK CITY, Utah-Kaleb Robertson, Cal Nielsen, Britt Nielsen, Riley Lambson, Seth Argyle and Ian Abplanalp each drove in a run and the No. 19 Spanish Fork Dons blanked No. 14 Park City 6-0 Saturday in the 5A regionals. Will Dart posted 9 strikeouts in the win for the Dons.
MURRAY, Utah-Jose Pereira homered and the No. 20 Alta Hawks overpowered No. 13 Cottonwood 6-1 in the 5A regionals Saturday. Bentley Crook recorded six strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Hawks. Payton Burk drove in a run for the Colts in the loss.

STANSBURY PARK, Utah-Bonnie Barnett drove in a pair of runs and he No. 11 Stansbury Stallions edged No. 22 Wasatch 4-3 Saturday in the 5A regionals. Bryn Leigh Jones posted a pair of strikeouts to earn the win in the circle for the Stallions. Sophia Ward drove in a pair of runs in the loss for the Wasps.
PAYSON, Utah-Kenli Miller homered and the No. 13 Payson Lions downed the No. 20 Northridge Knights 11-3 in the 5A regionals Saturday. Mahalia Buys posted three strikeouts in 2.2 innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Lions. Kaylee Sherreffs drove in a pair of runs in the loss for Northridge.
SALEM, Utah-Camryn Guest homered and the No. 10 Salem Hills Skyhawks pounded No. 23 Hillcrest 19-5 Saturday in the 5A regionals. Mylee Vest posted three strikeouts in three innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Skyhawks.
OREM, Utah-The No. 16 Timpanogos Timberwolves smacked No. 17 Skyline 12-5 in the 5A regionals Saturday. Lindsay Nelson drove in a pair of runs in the loss for the Eagles.
EAGLE MOUNTAIN, Utah-Lydia Tibbals homered and the No. 19 Maple Mountain Golden Eagles bested No. 14 Cedar Valley 10-6 Saturday in the 5A regionals. Aly Lundberg homered in defeat for the Aviators.
PROVO, Utah-Madison Fell homered and the No. 9 Timpview Thunderbirds bested No. 24 Mountain View 9-5 Saturday in the 5A regionals. Abigail Hansen recorded 10 strikeouts to earn the win in the circle for the Thunderbirds. Sammy Jenne homered twice in the loss for the Bruins.
OREM, Utah-Alli Mickelsen, Madison Holdaway and Jayla Anderson each homered and the No. 12 Orem Tigers routed No. 21 Brighton 12-2 in the 5A regionals Saturday. Mickelsen posted 14 strikeouts to earn the win in the circle for the Tigers. Alison Nikolaus homered in defeat for the Bengals.
WASHINGTON TERRACE, Utah-Mylee Pedersen and Emmaline DeGroot each homered and the No. 15 Bonneville Lakers pounded No. 18 Murray 13-3 Saturday in the 5A regionals. DeGroot also earned the win in the circle for the Lakers, posting three strikeouts. Jasmine Vera, Makayla Roybal and Lauren Harrison each drove in a run in defeat for the Spartans.
