Region 9

HEBER CITY, Utah-Alex Gutierrez and Gage Schiess drove in three runs apiece and the Wasatch Wasps pounded Spanish Fork 10-0 Thursday in Region 9 baseball play. Chett Wilson drove in two more runs for Wasatch while Tragun Shaw and Cole Zimmerman also added an additional RBI apiece in victory for the Wasps.

Zimmerman earned the win on the mound for the Wasps, posting two strikeouts in five innings of work.

Softball

Region 9

HEBER CITY, Utah-Berlyn Brown drove in three runs and the Wasatch Wasps clobbered Provo 15-3 in Region 9 softball play Thursday. McKenna Olney and Brylee Smith drove in an additional two runs apiece for the Wasps in the rout.

Hallie McNaughten posted six strikeouts in three innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Wasps.
