HEBER CITY, Utah-Chett Wilson netted 3 RBI and the Wasatch Wasps bested Maple Mountain 6-3 in Region 8 baseball action Thursday. Jarinn Kalama netted 5 strikeouts for the Wasps on the mound in the victory. Cole Zimmerman added an RBI in victory for Wasatch as the Wasps improved to 8-8.

HEBER CITY, Utah-Brooklyn Pintar, Peyton Hall and J’Amy Davis all went yard as the Spanish Fork Dons pounded Wasatch 12-2 Thursday in Region 8 softball play. Andrea Sweat and Kendyl Purdy had RBI in the loss for the Wasps.

Boys Soccer

Region 8

HEBER CITY, Utah-Gabe Manning, Jackson Hanley, Edgar Garcia, Tayler Dummar and Carter Davis each found the net while the Wasatch Wasps pounded Springville 5-0 in Region 8 boys soccer action Thursday. Garci and Ryan Hanley had 2 assists apiece for Wasatch. Jack Jarrett added another assists for the Wasps. Elder Gutierrez posted the shutout for Wasatch.
