OREM, Utah-Kam Coburn drove in two runs and the Salem Hills Skyhawks downed Wasatch 3-1 Tuesday in Region 9 baseball play. Kaleb Holman posted 5 strikeouts in 6 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Salem Hills. The game was played at Orem High School as the field was too wet at Salem Hills High School this afternoon.

Softball

Region 9

PROVO, Utah-Josie Cluff, Sophie Ward and Brylee Smith posted two RBI apiece and the Wasatch Wasps earned their first win of the season with an 11-0 rout of the Provo Bulldogs in Region 9 softball play Tuesday. Hallie McNaughten earned the win in the circle for the Wasps with 10 strikeouts in six innings of work.
