PROVO, Utah-Matthew Rhineer earned the win on the mound and the Provo Bulldogs outlasted Wasatch 16-14 in Region 8 baseball action Thursday. Peyton Swapp’s 6 RBI led the Wasps in defeat. Swapp also added a team-high 3 hits in defeat for the Wasps. Cole Cloward and Chett Wilson added 2 RBI apiece in defeat for the Wasps.

PROVO, Utah-Andrea Sweat went yard, leading Wasatch to a 19-5 win over Provo Thursday in Regin 8 softball action. Brylee Bigelow netted 3 RBI for the Wasps in the win. Makaylin Sulser, Charly Cluff and Payge Armendariz also posted 2 RBI apiece in victory for Wasatch. Kendyl Purdy and Maclee McPhie also added RBI for the Wasps in the win. Armendariz earned the win in the circle for Wasatch.

Boys Soccer

SALEM, Utah-Eli Simmons scored and the Salem Hills Skyhawks outlasted Wasatch 6-4 on penalty kicks in Region 8 boys soccer action Thursday. Josh Jeppson scored in the loss for the Wasps.
