HEBER CITY, Utah-The Mountain View Bruins overpowered Wasatch 84-73 in non-region boys basketball play Tuesday at the Nest. Louis Hoffman posted 17 points on 8-10 from the field for the Wasps. Brady Peery added 14 points on 7-11 from the field for the Wasps in defeat. The 1-2 Wasps return to action Thursday by hosting the Olympus Titans at the Nest at 7:00 pm. LAYTON, Utah-Ashley Garner had 16 points and the Wasatch Wasps drilled Layton Christian 50-44 in non-region girls basketball play Tuesday. Christina Boyle led the Eagles in the loss with 13 points. The Wasps improved to 2-0 on the season in victory. The Wasps are next in action Thursday at 3:00 pm against Manti at The Shannon Johnson Classic at Uintah High School.
