SALEM, Utah-Christian Snarr led the way with 16 points and the Salem Hills Skyhawks soared past Wasatch 62-46 in Region 9 boys basketball play Friday. Sam Lind led the Wasps in defeat with 15 points. The Wasps fell to 3-11 and 0-1 in Region 9 play with the loss. Wasatch returns to action Tuesday at 7:00 pm at Provo. This game will be broadcast on 94.5 The Peak and hebervalleyradio.com by Ty & Ty.
Girls Basketball
Region 9
SALEM, Utah-Ashley Garner posted 20 points and the Wasatch Wasps bested Salem Hills 55-48 Friday in Region 9 girls basketball play. Sage Carrick led the Skyhawks in the loss with 15 points. The Wasps are 11-6 and 1-0 in Region 9 play after Friday’s results. Wasatch next visits Provo Tuesday at 5:15 pm as the Region 9 season ensues for the Wasps.
