5-A Softball Championship Bracket

SPANISH FORK, Utah-Tessa Hokanson drove in five runs and the Mountain Ridge Sentinels ended Wasatch’s season with a 15-9 win over the Wasps Wednesday in the 5-A softball championship bracket at the Spanish Fork Softball Complex.

Ashlyn Webb earned the win in the circle for the Sentinels by pitching 6.2 innings.

Andrea Sweat had 6 RBI for the Wasps in defeat.

Wasatch ends the season with a record of 20-8-1 (.707)

5-A Softball Consolation Bracket

SPANISH FORK, Utah-Andrea Sweat posted three RBI and the Wasatch Wasps took control of the game in a productive 5th Inning by besting the Farmington Phoenix 6-4 in the 5-A consolation bracket Wednesday at the Spanish Fork Softball Complex.

Sweat also earned the win in the circle for the Wasps as she amassed six strikeouts in four innings of work.

The win moves Wasatch to the 5-A championship bracket as they face No. 2 seed Mountain Ridge Wednesday at 1:15 pm at the Spanish Fork Softball Complex.

The Wasps are now 20-7-1 (.732) on the season.
