SPRINGVILLE, Utah-Rowan Brown posted 14 digs and 23 receptions as the Wasatch Wasps outlasted Springville 3-2 in Region 9 volleyball play Thursday. The Wasps prevailed 25-20, 22-25, 25-23, 23-25, 16-14.

SALEM, Utah-Whitney Hughes and Kylee Carrick each scored as the Salem Hills Skyhawks blanked Wasatch 2-0 Thursday in Region 9 girls soccer play. Bryanna Hofheins earned the shutout for Salem Hills in the victory.
