SALEM, Utah-Jarret Elmer threw three touchdown passes and the Salem Hills Skyhawks downed Wasatch 21-0 Thursday in Region 8 football action. The Skyhawks outgained the Wasps 309-94 in improving to 7-1 and 3-1 in Region play.

The loss for the Wasps dropped them to 6-2 on the season and 3-1 in Region 8 play. Wasatch concludes the regular season October 15 at Springville for a 7:00 pm kickoff.

5-A Girls Soccer Playoffs First Round

SALT LAKE CITY-The No.13 East Leopards outlasted No.20 Wasatch 3-2 in the first round of the 5-A girls soccer playoffs Thursday. The Leopards next face No. 4 Olympus Tuesday at 4:00 pm.
