Wasatch Football Suffers Defeat At Hands of Mountain Ridge Friday

HEBER CITY, Utah-Cade Uluave threw a 42-yard touchdown pass to Jordan Day and added a 34-yard touchdown run in a 33-point 4th Quarter as the Class 6-A Mountain Ridge Sentinels bested Wasatch 40-30 at Wright-Tree Stadium in non-region football action Friday.

In the Sentinels’ productive 4th Quarter, Taylor Higham returned an interception 16 yards for a touchdown, Ayden Helm ran 20 yards for another score and Brody Laga drilled field goals of 32 and 45 yards.

In defeat, Tavian Edwards threw touchdown passes of 28 yards to Joshua Sanders, 40 yards to Nalu Kitashima and 35 yards to La’a Kalama. Adarius Edwards threw a 24-yard touchdown pass to Jarinn Kalama as well for the Wasps and Austin Southam drilled a 30-yard field goal for Wasatch.
