OREM, Utah-Saturday at the UCCU Center on the campus of Utah Valley University, the Wasatch boys wrestling team placed third with 234 points.
The Uintah Utes won their 26th all-time state title in boys wrestling by amassing 296 points, outdistancing second-place Payson as the Lions posted 253 points. The Utes have now won state wrestling titles in 1958, 1959, 1968, 1969, 1970, 1971, 1972, 1973, 1975, 1976, 1977, 1978, 1979, 1980, 1983, 1985, 1987, 1988, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1998, 1999, 2021, 2022 and 2023.
