SANDY, Utah-Saturday, Wasatch High School boys and girls cross country excelled in their first meet of the season, competing at the 2021 Digger Homecoming Invitational at Jordan High School.
The Copper Hills girls won the team title with 67 points as the Wasps placed fifth, netting 97 points.
For the boys, Skyridge won the team title as the Falcons amassed 30 points. Wasatch placed fourth with 113 points.
The girls’ individual champion Brighton senior Caroline Rupper, posting a time of 19:08.117.
The highest placing girl for the Wasps was junior Allison Munck, finishing third in a time of 19:27.574.
