HEBER CITY, Utah-Jackson Bolender posted 3 RBI and Cannon Bay went the distance on the mound as the Wasatch Wasps downed Springville 6-1 in Region 8 baseball play Wednesday. The win was Wasatch’s 6th in a row, improving the Wasps to 13-8 on the season. Wasatch improved to 9-3 in Region 8 play, tying the Wasps for second in the region standings with Maple Mountain. Wasatch faces region-leading Salem Hills Friday and Monday to conclude the regular season.
