SALT LAKE CITY SUMMER LEAGUE

SALT LAKE CITY-Yuta Watanabe posted 20 points and 9 rebounds and the Memphis Grizzlies routed the Utah Jazz 85-68 Monday in the Salt Lake City Summer League at Vivint Smart Arena. Watanabe also made 7 of his 12 shots, while Julian Washburn netted 20 points on 7 of 10 from the field, including 5 of 6 behind the arc. Tony Bradley posted 14 points and 15 rebounds in the loss for the Jazz. Tuesday, the Jazz hosts the Cleveland Cavaliers at 7:00 pm.

OREM, Utah-Zac Ching belted a grand slam and Justin Yurchak homered twice as the Ogden Raptors smacked the Orem Owlz 14-5 Monday at UCCU Ballpark in Pioneer League baseball action. The Raptors built a 3-0 lead on Yurchak’s first home run (in the first inning) and his RBI single (in the second inning). Andy Pages and Sam McWilliams also homered for the Raptors, as they improved to 11-5. Caleb Scires, Jose Verrier and Adrian Rondon all had RBI in the loss for the Owlz, dropping them to 6-10.
