TACOMA, Wash.-Marcus Wilson, Eric Filia and Jantzen Witte each homered as the Tacoma Rainiers doubled up Salt Lake 10-5 in Triple A-West play at Cheney Stadium Monday. Logan Verrett earned the win on the mound for the Rainiers, improving to 8-3 on the season. Tacoma improved to 59-42 with the victory. Matt Thaiss and Preston Palmeiro hit home runs for the Bees in the loss, who fell to 43-57. The series concludes Tuesday at Cheney Stadium for an 8:05 pm opening pitch.

Pioneer League

OGDEN, Utah-Troy Dixon and Niko Pacheco each homered and the Ogden Raptors pounded Missoula 13-2 in Pioneer League play Monday at Lindquist Field.

Jackson Cunningham earned the win on the mound for the Raptors, who improved to 47-40 on the season to conclude this series.

Brandon Riley and Jared Akins each had an RBI in defeat for the Paddleheads, who fell to 57-30.

Ogden returns to action Wednesday at Rocky Mountain for a six-game series against the Vibes.
