Triple A-West

TACOMA, Wash.-Jose Godoy’s RBI single in the bottom of the 9th lifted the Tacoma Rainiers to a 7-6 win over the Salt Lake Bees Thursday at Cheney Stadium in Triple A-West play. Jose Marmolejos, Marcus Wilson, Donovan Walton and Sam Travis added home runs in the win for the Rainiers, who improved to 55-42 with the win. Jose Rojas homered and had an RBI single in the loss for the Bees, as they fell to 43-53. Jimmy Yacabonis improved to 3-0 on the season as he earned the win on the mound for the Rainiers.

Pioneer League

OGDEN, Utah-Dean Nevarez homered and the Missoula Paddleheads drilled Ogden 7-2 Thursday in Pioneer League play at Lindquist Field. Mason Schwellenbach earned the win on the mound for the Paddleheads. Missoula improved to 54-29 with the win.

Reese Alexiades and Troy Dixon each had RBI in defeat for the Raptors. Ogden fell to 46-37 with the loss.

The Paddleheads and Raptors meet again Friday at 6:30 pm at Lindquist Field.
