Triple A-West

SALT LAKE CITY-Jose Rojas netted a 2-RBI single in the bottom of the 9th Inning as the Salt Lake Bees came back to stun Sacramento 9-8 Saturday at Smith’s Ballpark in Triple A-West play.

The Bees trailed 8-2 in the bottom of the 5th Inning when Chad Wallach homered for Salt Lake. Michael Stefanic added two home runs on the evening as Salt Lake scored the last seven runs of the game.

Salt Lake improved to 40-47 with the win.

Tim Peterson posted the win on the mound for the Bees, improving to 2-0 on the season.

Heliot Ramos and Mike Tauchman homered in the loss for the River Cats, who fell to 38-49.

The Bees and River Cats meet again Sunday at 1:05 pm at Smith’s Ballpark.

Pioneer League

OGDEN, Utah-Jakob Goldfarb, Pavin Parks and Calvin Estrada each homered as the Ogden Raptors downed Billings 9-7 Saturday in Pioneer League play at Lindquist Field.

Jackson Sigman earned the win on the mound for the Raptors, who improved to 41-32 on the season.

Christian Sepuldeva and Cameron Comer each homered in the loss for the Mustangs who fell to 34-39.

The Mustangs and Raptors meet again Sunday at 4:00 pm at Lindquist Field.
