SALT LAKE CITY-Drew Butera homered twice, leading the Salt Lake Bees to a 10-7 win over the Sacramento River Cats Friday at Smith’s Ballpark in Triple A-West play.

The Bees also received home runs from Brandon Marsh and Preston Palmeiro as Salt Lake improved to 28-27 on the season, despite being 1-6 in May.

Jake Petricka earned the win on the mound for the Bees, improving to 4-0 on the season.

Jason Krizan and Arismendy Alcantara went yard in defeat for Sacramento as the River Cats fell to 23-32 on the season.

The Bees and River Cats meet again Saturday at 6:35 pm at Smith’s Ballpark.

OGDEN, Utah-Clay Fisher homered and the Missoula Paddleheads smacked Ogden 7-1 Friday at Lindquist Field in Pioneer League play. Kevin Hilton earned the win on the mound for Missoula as the Paddleheads improved to 30-12 with the win. Josh Broughton posted his 43rd RBI of the season in the loss for the Raptors, dropping them to 27-15. The Paddleheads and Raptors meet again Saturday at 7:00 pm at Lindquist Field.
