SALT LAKE CITY-Matt Thaiss won the game with an RBI single in the bottom of the 9th as the Salt Lake Bees edged Las Vegas 6-5 Monday in Triple A-West play at Smith’s Ballpark.

Jo Adell, Scott Schebler and Taylor Ward all homered for the Bees in the win as they improved to 35-36 on the season.

Tyler Danish earned the win on the mound for Salt Lake as he improved to 3-2.

Nate Mondou and Francisco Pena homered in defeat for the Aviators, who fell to 36-35.

The Bees and Aviators conclude their series Tuesday at 6:35 pm at Smith’s Ballpark.

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.-Austin Elder drove in a pair of runs and the Grand Junction Rockies doubled up Ogden 6-3 Monday at Suplizio Field, concluding the series.

Cade Crader earned the win on the mound for the Rockies, who improved to 33-23 with the win.

Pavin Parks homered in the loss for the Raptors, who fell to 32-25.

The Raptors will take Tuesday off before returning to Lindquist Field for a series against Great Falls that starts Wednesday.
