Triple A-West

SALT LAKE CITY-Michael Stefanic, Matt Thaiss and Kean Wong each homered as the Salt Lake Bees pummeled Las Vegas 12-5 Friday at Smith’s Ballpark in Triple A-West play. This was a completion of the suspended game from Thursday evening.

Thomas Pannone earned the win on the mound for the Bees, as he improved to 3-7 on the season.

The Bees improved to 33-34 on the season with the Aviators falling to 34-33.

SALT LAKE CITY-Vimael Machin, Carlos Perez, Marty Bechina and Austin Allen all went yard as the Las Vegas Aviators earned a split against Salt Lake as they prevailed 10-1 in Triple A-West play at Smith’s Ballpark Friday. Miguel Romero earned the win on the mound for Las Vegas as the Aviators improved to 35-33. The Bees fell to 33-35 in defeat.

The Bees and Aviators meet again Saturday at 6:35 pm at Smith’s Ballpark. Fireworks follow the game.

Pioneer League

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.-Jakob Goldfarb, Brock Ephan, Jack Johnson and Pavin Parks each homered and the Ogden Raptors surged past Grand Junction 17-10 Friday at Suplizio Field in Pioneer League play.

Mark Mixon earned the win on the mound for the Raptors, as they improved to 32-22.

Nate Scantlin, Jose Gutierrez and Tyler Sandoval each homered in the loss for Grand Junction, as they dropped to 30-23.

The Raptors and Rockies meet again Saturday at 6:40 pm at Suplizio Field.
