TACOMA, Wash.-Kennie Taylor, Brian O’Keefe, Jake Hager, Jantzen White and Jose Marmolejos each homered and the Tacoma Rainiers blasted Salt Lake 12-2 Monday at Cheney Stadium in Triple A-West play. Logan Verrett earned the win on the mound for the Rainiers, as he improved to 5-2 on the season. Justin Upton homered in the loss for the Bees, who fell to 32-33 with the loss. Tacoma improved to 34-30 in victory. The series concludes Tuesday at 8:05 pm at Cheney Stadium.

OGDEN Utah-Tyler Kelly and Sam Little each homered as the Idaho Falls Chukars stymied Ogden 13-8 Monday in Pioneer League play at Lindquist Field.

Daniel Silva tok the win on the mound for the Chukars, who improved to 36-15 with the win.

Jakob Goldfarb and Pavin Parks both homered in defeat for the Raptors, dropping them to 30-21 on the season.

The Raptors take Tuesday off before commencing a 6-game series at Grand Junction Tuesday for a 6:40 pm MDT opening pitch.
