TACOMA, Wash.-The Salt Lake Bees exploded for 10 runs in the 5th Inning to rout Tacoma 16-4 Sunday at Cheney Stadium. The Bees’ most productive inning of the season featured a grand slam from Jake Gatewood, a three-run home run from Jo Adell, RBI singles from Jose Rojas and Michael Stefanic and an Anthony Bemboom RBI double.

The Bees improved to 31-32 on the season with Tyler Danish earning the win on the mound for Salt Lake, as he improved to 2-1. Jake Hager homered in the loss for the Rainiers, who fell to 33-29.

The Bees and Rainiers meet again Sunday at 2:35 pm MDT at Cheney Stadium.

Pioneer League

OGDEN, Utah-Jakob Goldfarb and Pavin Parks each homered and the Ogden Raptors pounded Idaho Falls 17-2 Saturday at Lindquist Field in Pioneer League play.

Nico Tellache earned the win on the mound for the Raptors, who improved to 30-19 with the win.

Webb Little and Thomas DeBonville each posted RBI in defeat for the Chukars, who fell to 34-15 with the loss.

The Raptors and Chukars meet again Sunday at Lindquist Field for a 4:00 pm opening pitch.
