SALT LAKE CITY-Per Thursday news, the University of Utah’s men’s basketball squad will host Cal State Bakersfield of the Big West Conference at the Huntsman Center November 11.

This will be the first meeting in history on the hardwood between the Runnin’ Utes and the Roadrunners.

Roadrunners head coach Rod Barnes is entering his 12th season at the helm of the Bakersfield program and is 172-171 (.501) at the school.

Utes head coach Craig Smith went 11-20 (.355) in his first season at Utah last season.

This is the Utes’ sixth game of the upcoming season to be confirmed.
