SALT LAKE CITY-Per Tuesday news, Utah men’s basketball will host Jacksonville State December 8 at the Huntsman Center.

The Utes and the Gamecocks will be meeting on the hardwood for the first time in the histories of the respective programs.

Jacksonville State is coming off of a 21-11 season and an Atlantic Sun Tournament championship which landed them in the NCAA Tournament.

Gamecocks head coach Ray Harper is in his seventh season at the helm of the program and is 119-76 (.610).
