SALT LAKE CITY-Devin Vassell’s 24 points and 4 rebounds on 10-15 from the field led the way and the San Antonio Spurs bested the Utah Jazz 111-104 Tuesday in NBA preseason play at Vivint Arena.

Keldon Johnson added 22 points and 5 boards on 9-13 from the field (4-5 behind the arc) for the Spurs, who recorded their first win of the preseason, improving to 1-3.

Lauri Markkanen’s 18 points and 10 rebounds led the Jazz in defeat as Utah fell to 1-2 in the preseason.

Utah concludes the preseason Friday at 7:00 pm against the Dallas Mavericks at Vivint Arena.
