SUGAR LAND, Texas-Rylan Bannon homered and the Sugar Land Space Cowboys got past Salt Lake 9-5 Tuesday at Constellation Stadium.

Austin Hansen recorded four strikeouts in 1.2 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Sugar Land. This was Hansen’s first win of the season as he improved to 1-1.

Taylor Jones homered twice in the loss for the Bees as they fell to 20-26 on the season. Sugar Land improved to 19-26 with the victory.

The Bees and Space Cowboys return to action Wednesday at 6:35 pm MDT at Constellation Field as the series ensues.
