SALT LAKE CITY-Arismendy Alcantara homered and the Sacramento River Cats scored nine unanswered runs to end the game as Sacramento bested Salt Lake 9-4 Tuesday in Triple A-West play at Smith’s Ballpark.
Akeel Morris earned the win on the mound in his first appearance of the season to improve to 1-0. The River Cats improved to 26-33 on the season.
The Bees built a 4-0 lead after the third inning with RBI from Matt Thaiss, Michael Stefanic and Anthony Bemboom.
The Bees fell below .500 on the season at 29-30. Salt Lake has dropped three consecutive games.
The Bees will take Wednesday off before commencing a six-game series at Tacoma.
