WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif.-Patrick Bailey hit a home run in the bottom of the 8th Inning and the Sacramento River Cats got past Salt Lake 6-5 Wednesday at Sutter Health Park.
Bryce Johnson also homered in victory for Sacramento as the River Cats improved to 17-18.
Nick Avila posted a strikeout in 1.2 innings of work and was accredited with the win on the mound for the River Cats. Avila improved to 4-0 on the season.
Kevin Padlo homered and added an RBI single in defeat for the Bees.
Salt Lake fell to 15-20 with the loss as they have dropped three consecutive games.
The Bees and River Cats meet again Thursday at 7:45 pm MDT at Sutter Health Park.
