HEBER CITY, Utah-Wednesday, the first day of the Region 9 track and field championships at Wright-Tree Stadium saw region championships decided in several events. All Wasatch Wasps student-athletes will appear in bold type. Maple Mountain’s boys (51 points) and girls (66 points) each have the team lead after the first day of competition.
Wasatch’s MacKenna Gallon won the region title in girls javelin with a toss of 109-01. Sharadan Caldwell also recorded a region title for the wasps in the girls discus with a toss of 109-01.
