OGDEN, Utah-Jesus Valdez homered twice and the Ogden Raptors drilled Idaho Falls 12-2 Saturday at Lindquist Field in Pioneer League play.

Ronny Orta recorded the win on the mound for the Raptors, posting four strikeouts and surrendering seven hits in six innings of work.

Steve Barmakian and Brady West each drove in a run in defeat for the Chukars.

The Raptors improved to 12-9 on the season with the win while Idaho Falls slumped to 16-6.

The Raptors and Chukars conclude their series Sunday at 2:00 pm at Lindquist Field.
