OGDEN, Utah-Jesus Valdez and Brian Dansereau each homered and the Ogden Raptors dismantled Boise 16-3 Saturday in Pacific Coast League play at Lindquist Field.
Polo Portela posted four strikeouts in five innings of work for the Raptors to earn the win on the mound.
Trevor Minder and Haloa Dudoit each drove in a run for the Hawks in the loss.
The Raptors improved to 36-21 on the season and are 7-4 in the second half of the season.
Boise fell to 19-40 in defeat.
The Raptors and Hawks meet again Sunday at 2:00 pm at Lindquist Field to conclude the series.
